Geeze, its been 6 days already since the start of the IMBC. Good on all of you who have made it this far, way to follow the rules and keep your heads above water.
I decided today to fill out my income tax 1040. WOW, I wasn’t aware that we survived on so little last year. Im kind of proud of the fact that we made it through the year with an amount that is just below the poverty line for a family our size though. Maybe the stimulus money will come in handy after all, $1500 bucks is $1500.
On to today’s topic: My favorite indie movie. I am going to have to go with “My Big Fat Independent Movie”, screenplay by Mr. Chris Gore. For those of you who haven’t seen it, think of it as indie flicks version of Scary Movie. Yeah, you have to have watched a metric fuck ton of indie movies, but if you have seen even a few of the films that they poke fun at, then My Big Fat Independent Movie will have you rolling in the floor more times than not. My favorite quote from the movie? Well, there are 2 quotes from the movie that I love, first up is the Lanky guy: “You know what they say. Lesbians: better than e-mail” and then there is Sam: “We’re more in than the 70’s were during the 90’s” If you get a chance check this flick out its fun enough to watch a few times.
Well, as many of you know, I have been out of school for a couple of weeks, due to spring break and a few other details. It all starts again tomorrow morning at 8:30 am with y History class, I should have a t least one good rant about the morons in there by tomorrow evening , Until then take care of yourselves and each other. (GOD why did I quote Jerry Springer, I hate that show?!?!?!)
